Thanks for posting the link to those QuiltCon photos, Ibex. I am intrigued by that style and trying to learn it. Most of those, tho... I wouldn't have known where to start! I did so LOVE the Lava Lamps! That one I understood!

I got MonaG's package of F8s today. Thank you Mona. Remember your F8s need to reach me by Friday (3 days away), so hopefully everyone will be mailing their packages by today.

By the way, if you make your shipping label with Pirate Ship, rather than USPS.com, you will only pay $8.30, rather than the USPS price of $10.40. I like saving $2 per package. They still go through USPS, it's just that Pirate Ship gets a bulk discount they pass along to you.

Good Morning, Robins!

I made my first block from my Christmas Kittens fabric. It's from Tula Pink's City Sampler book. The red and the green are the colors I am asking for in my blocks... those plus a little white is ok too.

Looking forward to what shows up in my mailbox today. The fabrics that have come so far are beautiful! Next week we should all be getting our F8s and making blocks!

Annaquilts BOOM 29 set I

Theme-Houses, Realistic Building Materials

Colors- I am hoping for realistic house themed blocks in NATURAL shades. NO white or brights please.

Style- piecing, applique and embroidery.

Any leftovers, I'd gladly welcome back.

Thank you for helping me make these blocks. I am really looking forward to seeing all the fun creations you make. Have fun.

Annaquilts BOOM 29 set II

Theme-Florals ( Kaffe, Westminster, Rowan, Deb Strain) I am hoping for floral themed blocks. Please use a lot of the floral fabric.

Colors- NO white or yellow please. I like pink, violet, blue and greens for this quilt . If possible use similar fabrics or tone on tone. The tone on tone will help pop the floral fabric.

Style- piecing, applique and embroidery.

Any leftovers, I'd gladly welcome back. I bought these fabrics resale in a small bundle and hope to complete the quilt with the leftovers..

Thank you for helping me make these blocks. I plan to make a quilt for my granddaughter, a pip squeak redhead, heading towards puberty. I am really looking forward to seeing all the fun creations you make.
