sharon i didnt even mention the boom blocks i have waiting for me. i sent out four sets of fabrics for boom 5 and four sets of fabrics for boom 6. that is another 8 projects that are waiting for me start on. i hope that starting this quilt journaling project this year will help to stay focused and finish up some things. once i figure out how to blog on this board, i will start the process.

i had also wanted to start a 365 notes quilt project this year but i am already 29 days overdue for that. so i decided i would just write my thought/events in a real journal and transfer them to the quilt fabrics later.

i can quilt one of the pin basted quilts to have one completed for this month but i wanted to practice a meander stitch on one of them and i know that will take me longer than a day to finish. i will just double up in february to get on track. determination & can - do (in all that i do) are my buzz words for 2012.

Hello, all!

I finished the New Year's Mystery quilt tonight, so thought I'd revive this thread to show you guys the finished product.

Did everything by machine, including the binding. SO nice to take it off the machine and be DONE!

I want to thank everyone again for following along with this and posting your pictures. I've caught the quilting bug again and finished another quilt this week, too (one that had only a little bit to go on it, not from scratch!), and have been feeling overall inspired!
