Any one here use "the pounce"
#43
I have the older chaulk that washes out. still I had to pounce, not wipe as directed. my stencil caused me some problems getting caught in the pounce cover. so far I've only used it on a border and it worked well enough.

The parts of the quilt on which my quilted pattern will be is all white. I've seen posts here that say "do not use the blue chalk because it cannot be removed".....well, what should I use? My plastic template is a fairly small (about 6") flower design with simple lines.

I love my pounce. It makes marking the quilt very easy. It is a little messy as I have a heavy hand pouncing...lol. My only concern is that I have to really clean my machine after using. The chalk mixes with the lint and really makes a mess. For me, it is more than worth it.

I had mixed results with it. It can be hard to apply cleanly and often wears off before you finish quilting the entire pattern, so it needs to be reapplied which can be tricky. It doesn't show up well on a lot of fabrics; darker ones work best. And the iron off kind is easier to remove than the other type.
