When I quilt my own quilts I can make the backing small enough to have little waste. When I have a longarmer do it I save the batting scraps and backing scraps IF they are at least 5" to cut charm squares. Otherwise I donate if at least 2 1/2" sq.. I don't have the room or desire to save anything smaller; I am overwhelmed as it is.

Yes. I save all my scraps. If they are big enough they go in my fabric. If they are small I put them in a bag and save for dog beds.
My friend donates dog pillows to ASPCA. They said that if the dogs have a pillow in their cages they get adopted quicker.
Nothing goes to waist.
Makes me fell good.

I am a scrap-o-holic. I save all scraps bigger than an inch. Anything smaller I save too and give them to a lady who makes dog beds for Humane Society. I am making a miniature quilt and it takes a lot. I am beginning to think I love sewing with scraps better than regular fabric. I hate cutting and I think this contributes to the loving scraps. Plus, I am not filling the land fill and all of my $12 a yard fabric gets used so no $$down the drain.

So tired of scraps...Have two huge boxes and two pails full. I try to keep up w/cutting them w/Go but it always gets away from me. So lately I'm just throwing away...I'm drowning in SCRAPS.
