I give quilts to homeless folks who prefer ugly as they are less likely to be stolen.

Someone PMed me asking about a reference I made to my flower face quilts, and someone else had made a comment on the thread, something to the effect that they didn't think scrappy would look as good as this did, using large scrappy blocks. Wanted to share what I do with all those 4-1/2" blocks I cut.

Judy, your flower face quilts are adorable. I'd have a hard time giving one away.

Thank you Judy. I love this pattern and would love to make another one from the 4 inch squares that I have.

Hey everyone, I want to join in again. Well, I didn't get my 3rd mystery train top quilted at Christmas as Mom had a quilt on her LA frame and she has many more to finish. So it got packed back home and I have not done any sewing since then. I'm late at the station but want to join in on this one. I have some 9 patch blocks already made so I may use them for clue one. Will have to check when i get back in the sewing room tonight.

Well I decided to jump in at the last minute (like last Saturday) and here is my finished so far quilt along with the Coronado 040 vintage machine I stitched it on. She is like to Featherweight on steriods.
