    That is really cute. It looks good to me like it is. I love the pink and white. It really make the bluebird stand out.

    It is lovely! I think a bird in flight or a dragonfly in the upper right might even it out.

    You usually do things in uneven numbers, so three should do it, to balence it. I would put just the swirl you have on the bottom right side, at the top right hand corner, no flower. Just lay it up there and see if you don't agree. it balances the whole quilt.

    I love it with this applique but I think another would balance it better. Beautiful work so far.
