Few yrs ago in Nov --driving in Al and white stuff on edge of road -like after a snow plough goes thru in Ontario.
Picked up grocery bag full /at home spent hours combing out seeds /made a pin cushion with it as a souvenier of
the trip. Terrible experience because it was damp (raining) and cleaning it was torture. Sure understood how hard
it was yrs ago. Thanks for the pics.

I live in Australia on the Darling Downs and cotton is grown here. We have many farmers who produce and two gins that are close to town. The best thing is to go into the paddock and pick a piece of cotton off the plant - it is an amazing feeling to touch it. The worst thing about cotton pickin time is the mess on the side of the road where the cotton has fallen off the truck as it is being taken to the gin
