    I did twilling and candle wicking on tea towels, book covers. etc. back in the 80's. I used some published designs and drew some of my own. Using different size threads in the design makes it more interesting. Then it kind of fell by the wayside and now it is being revived for quilting. There is a quilting book out now for twilling. Think I will have to give another go of it.
