    I actually like the top very much, and i like that there are 2 very large squares in the whole heart. Those make the whole heart look almost 3-D. I think if you eliminated the larger square you would loose something sort of magical!

    That quilt is lovely and I wouldn't change a thing.....but what I have learned in my years of quilting....IS stick to tried and true patterns.....my imagination doesn't transfer well to the pattern..my quilting partners use to say.....why do you invent a pattern when there are perfectly good patterns out there that WORK!
    That being said, the pattern is amazing and it looks great...square it up, quilt it and call it a day!!
