Sour Towel Smell

I add 1 cup of vinegar to the wash occassionally.

Also take that gym bag, turn it inside out and let the sun bake that smell out.

I wash those smelly things with a couple of dryer sheets in the washer with them. hot water - extra detergent...

I played hockey for several years and my pads were so nasty that I could barely put them on for a game! I finally started carrying a bottle of Febreeze in my bag and sprayed them AFTER each game. My pads didn't even have a hint of an odor. You'd have to get your husband to actually USE the Febreeze though - just being in his bag isn't enough!!!
