I am so excited to participate for the first time. The only thing missing from the information is how long we have to respond. Does anyone know?

How long to respond for what masimmons? Signups or to make the blocks?
I currently have a total of 56 interested swappers. Still plenty of room and time to sign up folks so come on in!

EQ7 is a quilt software program that allows you to design quilts, blocks, re-size, re-color. I also have quite a few add-ons. I have a paper-piecing program, a Farmer's Wife add-on and more. I use it everyday and wouldn't dream of being without it!

I was curious on how long the participants have to complete the quilts.

Once the swap begins, April closes the door and we get the names and addresses we have 4 months to send out all the blocks we make. I found that if I am well organized before it starts I manage to get all the blocks out with plenty of time to spare. A small group is 16 so you mail out 15 (one for you to make) and a large group is 36 so you make 35.

In Boom 6 I did one small and one large (50 total blocks to mail out) It was fun but I am going to scale back to only 30 to mail this time, Spring and summer takes me out doors a lot more and my time is fuller... OK I hope I answered your question and did not confuse you further... Happy sewing hope you join, it is really great, My skills have improved quite a bit.
