I like it! I too have a large button collection, most of them given to me. However it doesn't have many colorful buttons.

I love it. What a clever idea. I'm glad to hear that your SIL is sentinmental ~ he'll love it. I am planning on making a mini Christmas tree quilt and using my Grandma's buttons as ornaments. If it turns out, I'll post a picture. If not, you'll never hear about it. :-)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Buttons!! Your stocking is awesome! I've made a pumpkin, Christmas tree, flag, and a grape cluster, and often decorate my wall hangings with assorted buttons. You chose just the right ones!!
