Just my humble opinion.
Twinkie, As another poster stated, their "social policies" drove me away.*
I agree w your comment about price points. I primarily shop JoAnn's and thrift shops, and support LQS (few & far between) when they have sales.

We love HOBBY LOBBY. I don't care what their policies are, I don't have to agree with anyone's policies and they don't have to agree with mine. We get great deals there, my wife and I both have the HOBBY LOBBY app on our iphones so we go through line seperately and get two items for 40% off. At ALL the HOBBY LOBBY's here, we ask for the fabric at full price and then we get 40% off the fabric, instead of 30%

I totally agree--I don't do business with any company that uses religion as a marketing tool--seems so un Christ like.

Actually--the thread started as an endorsement for Hobby Lobby.

Here in Texas years ago there was a thing called "The Texas Blue Law" all stores but grocery were to be closed on Sunday's unless they chose a different day of the week to be closed. Most stuck with the closed Sundays whether it was for religious belief or not I don't know, but I am glad the "Blue" law isn't in effect any longer.
