I like the idea that it will work with scraps. That's what some groups have trouble utilizing, but get lots donated!

Jeanne I brought the quilts in for the srs. to wrap them and cards etc. they loved the quilts and cant wait to do a quickie quilt. thank you for the instructions. it will be on our list for the new year!

Jeanne, thank you so much for posting this beautiful quilt.
Twice a year, I attend a retreat where I bring precut fabric for everyone to make a block to be assembled for a quilt for the local woman's shelter. This pattern is perfect.
Is this your design? May I share it with them? With credits to Jeanne S from OK )

sure, please share it with anyone you like---post a picture if they make it at the retreat, I would love to see it. I did work up the sizes of the pieces, but was inspired by pictures of other similar quilts. I don't claim this as an original---it seems like the beginnings of a basic log cabin block (blown up in size) to me. Thanks for your kind words!!
