I used the tricot fusible, running the stretchy part the opposite direction from the t-shirt stretch and it worked great. It's very soft, not stiff like I expected after applying fusible.

I have always purchased the cheapest I can find about med weight. It is fusible interfacing.

you need a non-woven stablizer to back the stretchy fabrics- not a paper backed fusable that's used for applique.
a good lightweight one- readily available at any fabric store (like joannes) quite inexpensive.

I used a lightweight fusible interfacing. Have used it on 3 t-shirt quilts, one queen size, and two twin size. It worked great, and wasn't stiff at all.

You may want to check into fusible interfacing, instead of fusible web.
The interfacing helps stabilize the tshirt fabric. Fusible web is what you use to fuse two pieces of fabric together :D:D:D

I use the Tricot as well. Its meant for knits, so gives it nice body but does not add much bulk.

I used lightweight fusible for mine. I think it was Pellon or something.
