My DH took a couple of pieces of 2 X 4 and sawed slots in them to hold my rulers. Does the same as the $25.00 ones at quilt shops. I love them

Some of the CD towers laid on their side work well also.

I have a rod on the wall....like an inch or so round curtain rod....of course, being put up with the regular rod holders. (Found it at a garage sale.) My DH screwed in cup hooks underneath the rod at intervals of about 8 in. Then I bought the large 2 - 3 inch metal clips, (like you can put keys on, etc). They open out, I slide a couple of rulers onto the ring/clip and hang it onto the cup hook. I have all my rulers hanging like this across this curtain rod. They are easy to see...in plain sight....and easy to take off a ring and use. This maybe as "clear as mud."

I found a remote contol holder at the good-will. I stand the small ones in it and stand big behind it. and put the cutter in the front. work well for me.

I covered a board with fabric and nailed penny nails (I think that's what they're called) into it, like a peg board...hung it over my cutting table and it holds my rulers, and I have another for my cutters, etc. Works great and now worry about pegs falling out! :) Very inexpensive fix for me!

i had dh cut slots in an old pc of 1x6.. for me, daughter in law & best friend... cheap & works great!

I keep my most often used on in one of those racks with the grooves(DH made it) keep the square ones in a pizza boz and hang the weird ones on a tie rack.

I shopped the thrift store and got a couple of envelope holders for the desk. They work perfectly for my rulers and were only 45 cents each.

I found my at a garage sale, a wooden letter holder. Works good.
