Mirabella your blocks are lovely, I can't wait to see them all together, the black, red and white make a lovely combination
Toverly your colurs are great together,
Carriem I am liking the 2 different colours you are using, I think I can remeber you where saying that you are make 2 different quilts is that correct, what a great idea since it make a very large quilt with 50 blocks.

Thanks everyone, I do find it easy to piece my blocks if I have a few cut in advance, so that is what I will be doing tomorrow so maybe I can take them to patchwork on Friday and get a few more made (here's hoping anyway)

toverly---some more pretty batiks! Can't wait to see all of your blocks together!!
Lyn--yes, I am making 2 quilts. I'm doing 10" blocks too, so a bit smaller. For one quilt I am thinking of putting the blocks on point. For the other, I like the off set rows/blocks like some are doing...we'll see.

Hi
Once again another Monday morning, how quick the weeks go. This is one of the better block that went together some you just stitch and unpick, stich and unpick, and so many little pieces, I don't know how anyone can do anything smaller that 10" blocks sometimes. I have only 4 more to cut out and 8 more to sew together, (there is a light at the end of this tunnell).
Here is my New Hamshire block.

Lyn--another great block.
I didn't make NH. Since I've had limited sewing time this summer I am trying to choose blocks I can get done a little more quickly. Plus I only need 20 blocks per quilt, so I have 10 I won't need.

Good Morning everyone! Happy Monday. Another pretty one Lyn Hut! I agree, this one would have been a bear in a smaller star. Love the little bud of white in the star. Here is my NH. It blends out in the photo but looks okay. Not my favorite.
