Default Strip Twist quilt from Quiltville

I just finished this top today and am so happy with it I think I'll make another, only bigger. I follow the scrap management tools espoused by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville and thanks to that practice had all the necessary 2.5 strips already cut for this quilt. I started on Saturday and put the borders on it today.

The second quilt, the green one was also made from pre cut 2.5 squares left over from prior quilts. I'm not an expert at machine quilting, but I'm getting better.

Both are beautiful. Especially like the stars.

Beautiful quilts! I especially like the first one, and the pattern, so much movement!

I love the 'movement' of the blocks in the first one . And the second I love the sashing with the stars. Stellar job on both!
