Clover Pen Style Chaco Liner
I have tried several techniques for marking my fabric... some better than others. I do like the Clover Pen Style Chaco Liner... my question is.... have any of you guys tried using the pounce chalk powder to refill this pen? I have pounce chalk but I think it could be messy to try, but if it works I will try. Any ideas?

I have! I am too cheap to buy the refils so I pried the top off (which took some doing, I had to use plyers to work it off) and I carefully put pounce chalk in. It works great. I used a little funnel to put it in once and another time I used a piece of wax paper folded and worked it in. The funnel worked better, you just need one small enough to fit inside the tube.

I use the pounce chalk in my chaco liner it is a little messy when I first tried it then you get inventive I started using a tweezer holding the refill and putting it in the chalk now I see I will try the wax paper tip I like using the pounce in the chaco liner more then I like using the pounce itself I try and save $$$ to

Is that the one with a screw on cap and the little wheel at the tip? I used talc in mine when I run out and all my LQS had were blue refills. I know better than to trust any coloured marking tools.

Does the top of your not unscrew? You can buy the refills for them and for me a couple of bucks once or twice a year is well worth the hassle! Tartan, have you not used Crayola Washables for color markers? They are marvelous!!
