Default How do you display

How do you display/store your vintage machines? I'm up to 5 machines and was wondering what to do with them.

For some more amusing answers, I recently came across this thread while searching for something else:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...l-t245615.html

I've only got 2, the one I keep folded down in the cabinet (which probably isn't all that good for it...), the other I have a personalized quilted cover that I bought when I first started, it's great for keeping all the pet hair away from it and easier than putting it in and out of the case all the time.

A lot of the ones I have my eye on come in a cabinet - I love those, but they take up a lot more room so I would consider taking them out of the table, taking the legs off of the table, and storing it else where until I have the room.

I have Expedit shelves from Ikea that work great and a walk in closet that can contain many of them. I have about 30 stashed throughout the house. I have 5 or 6 in cabinets and those are the ones I have to be careful with. I don't want any more cabinets!

yes, cabinets and treadle machines take up so much space. ones in bentwood cases can be easily stored and displayed and can be used easily too as you just have to find a table and off you go sewing.

with the bentwood cases, all you need are open shelves to display them. but for me they're all over my place. have not thought about putting them out for display yet.

I counted last night and there are 13 in the house right now. I have a few in cabinets, a sewing table with 3 on top and the rest in cases on metal shelving. I don't really "display" my machines, I kinda more try and hide the crazy.

Display? ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!
My machines are all over the place. Front room, middle room, door to the bedroom, basement, garage. Every room but the kitchen and bathroom have machines. Most are burried and have to be excavated to use them.

I'm trying to rehome a bunch of them, but they don't want to leave. Matter of fact they keep inviting their friends in and I'm not sure what or where I have any more.

Spot on.... there are actually two more treadles (American #1 and Singer 13) and one industrial (241-12) in the same room but to my left...

Now, can you name them? (I know, bad pic makes it challenging)
