Default Spanish ALFA A Model: is a Singer 15 clone?

ALFA A Model: is she a Singer 15 clone?
ALFA is a well known sewing machine's spanish brand manufactured in Eibar, Guipuzcoa since 1925.
I'm now the owner of a Model A ALFA (circa 1940-1950) . Is a gift from a friend who got it several years ago from a passed aunt and my friend knows that I care for this old machines. She is not fond of sewing.
After cleaning and polishing she looks very pretty and I think she is a 15-clone. Could that be correct?
Thank you for read my post!!!

I suppose you could call it a Singer Clone. I had a handcrank model of a similar machine, an Alfa Model 20-A, for a while, then sold it to one of my son’s biker buddies for his sewing needs. It was a nice machine and I didn’t find anything wrong with it.

I really like the treadle that you have. It’s the first Alfa Treadle that I’ve seen, I guess. Nice unit.

Uno pie o dos? Mi gusta uno pie solo (demasiado gordo for dos. hehehe).
[One foot or two? I like one foot only (I'm too fat for two. hehehe].

tron80,

How are you getting along with your foot movement? Have you had time to practice on your treadle?
