Ice cream bread
I found this recipe today in an email and thought it was super-simple and worth a try.
Ice Cream Bread
2 cups of your favorite ice cream, softened
1 and 1/2 cups self-rising flour
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease and flour a 8x4 inch loaf pan
3. Mix the ice cream and flour together in a bowl just until combined. Smooth it out so it looks even
4. Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
5. Cool for awhile and then serve
6. Store in the fridge
You could use seasonal ice cream, pumpkin for the fall, peppermint for Christmas, etc. or just any ice cream at all.

I have an easy and very delicious recipe using Ice Cream.
Ice Cream Cake: 2 cups of melted ice cream (flavor of your choice), 3 eggs, One box cake mix (flavor of your choice). Beat well and grease 13 by 9 inch pan. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 or until it tests done with a toothpick. Last one I made coffee ice cream and added 1 teaspoon of instant coffee. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Really good.

I agree with ptquilts, I love ice cream and it goes directly from the freezer to my mouth. Besides, I'm extremely sensitive to gluten, so I don't need any flour. Ice cream is a treat for me since I am still trying to lose weight,so when I do get some, which is maybe about once every 3 months, I get a pint of Hagen Daz Gelato and eat the entire container, then feel quilty for about 5 min. then go on with the diet. But I will tell my sister about this recipe and maybe she can make it for her grandson who has an real sweet tooth
