Default Qquilt inventory

How many quilts do you have/own? Not including ones you gave away, gifted or made for charity....how many are yours, in your home right now that you plan on keeping until you're gone...?

Almost three. One is finished and two are slowly in production. Mostly I make charity quilts and there always seems to be a need for one or two so my personal quilts get put on the back burner too often. The one I finally made for myself was because of the quilt contest held here on the board. It might still be unfinished if there hadn't been the deadline for the photos to be posted.

5, I think, nope, 7....
Only 4 bed sized quilts, 3 of which are used, 1 my sister made, she gave it to me. Then 3 smaller ones, picnic quilt, one used for a table cloth once in a while & one draped over the desk chair. Oh, forgot the 'car quilt' number's up to 8 - the car quilt lives in the car though not the house. I think that's it....better stop thinking about it before I remember more....

At least 12. Plus that many- or more- wall hangings.

Probably 25 or 30 and that's not counting the ones that are almost finished or in my daughter's room. Some of them are vintage quilts from family or a neighbour, some are from my early years of quilting, some are the ones I made for my parents and got back after they died and some are my newest creations. As my parents' grandchildren (my kids and nieces and nephews) start getting homes of their own, I am handing out some of these quilts.

3 I use for bedspreads, 2 wall hangings in other rooms and several small pieces that hang in my sewing room.

Ten lap size or larger and several table runners or toppers. I also have two quilts that I inherited.
