Default Need Quilting Ideas for this one.

Hi everyone! Just got this glued together for quilting. I planned on doing an overall swirl design, but thought I'd see if y'all had any suggestions. How would you quilt this? Thanks! Oh, and get ready, it's so bright it'll hurt your eyes, but I got rid of lots of scraps!

Diagonal lines through the diamonds. Not sure after that.

I think diagonal "wavy" lines would be cute and help it flow even more.

Beautiful quilt top! I love the colors and the symmetry. A great scrap-buster, for sure.

I love complex machine quilting, so I would do something really challenging. Some ideas: stitch in the ditch of every smaller square, then do a four-petal flower inside each square. In the medium squares, do the same thing as far as outlining it, maybe echoing that outline inside the square, so it has a double outline 1/4-inch apart, and then do a six-petal flower in those squares. In the large squares, do the double outline, but with the lines 1/2-inch apart, and then do a "double flower" like the one in this blog: http://christaquilts.com/2013/04/24/...ouble-flowers/

I might leave the white unquilted, to highlight the squares and flowers. I'm not sure. I might also do some sort of dense background quilting in the white.

I like the idea of an overall swirl design. Love your quilt.

I have no idea about the quilting, but I love your top, it's gorgeous.

As I have robotics on my system I was able to come up with this idea as I just finished the Jewel Box such as yours. Here's my rendition on what I did. Please overlook my scribblings.

I guess I am odd man out. I like the quilting to support the piecing and not take away from it's beauty. I would crosshatch it.

I agree - "go with the flow"
