that link is to blog of quilt designer/author lori holt. she did the barn blocks quiltalong few years ago. her site is fun & full of free block patterns. a friend & i bought her last book "farm girl vintage" last summer. to date ...friend's score ..one quilt from book & two quilts using blocks from the book and more blocks from another lori holt book. me ..i got the garden area leveled, one tree stump out but nothing but pages marked & ideas written from my book

I see she uses Eleanor Burn's applique method with thin interfacing. Cute shapes

I love her blog and designs, so charming. I think the price of the templates is pretty steep (for me).

I really like Lori Holt. Bought one of her books but haven't made anything yet. Recently, I purchased two of her flannel boards as they were on sale.
