Default Any experience with Kelly Cline rulers on your DSM?

I am interested in trying some ruler work on my DSM. I ran across Kelly Cline's blog, and she does some gorgeous work! She has two small rulers for sale, and the price is pretty reasonable. Guess my other question is, what time of foot are using on a Bernina? I have a 350, and I don't think Bernina has come out with a ruler foot for DSMs yet....

Hope I am not violating any rules in posting this link!

I tried using my own ruler and you have to remember that you have to move your quilt along with keeping the ruler in place. With a LAQ, you are moving the machine and not the quilt so I can understand how easily they would work on a frame.

I modified a foot for my older Bernina since it is no longer under warranty. Westalee makes a foot to use with Berninas but I think it voids your warranty if you use a non Bernina foot. Bernina is supposed to be coming out with a ruler foot for their machines that go on a frame but not for domestic machine yet. The problem with using a foot with a higher edge is you must always remember to have the foot down or the needle is not able to go down properly and you will hit your bobbin case. Go you tube and watch the Westalee videos. I think Amy at freemotionquiltingadventures.blogspot.com/ has a foot and ruler set on her site.

Kelly is amazing! She has some you tube videos and tons of photos on her blog. She has truly started a movement with Vintage quilting!
