I bought a Panasonic cordless and it was great for about 6 weeks. It stopped heating, so I sent it to south Texas for repair, and 2 weeks later they sent me.....a Panasonic iron with a long chord! Go figure!! I gave up after that. Let me know if you find one that lasts. Perhaps I just got a lemon?

Yeah, sounds like you got a lemon for sure!
I have the Panasonic Cordless 360 and love it!
Bought it on sale.
I just got tired of the cord getting tangled up in everything.

I saw a video yesterday with Bob Appell, He was using one. I think I could get used to one but I have 2 and really don't want to spend the money.

I also have the Panasonic 360 and love it. It's particularly helpful when pressing quilt tops or backs and not having a cord in the way. The time out shut-off isn't too bad either when I'm piecing blocks. (Stays on long enough and not as annoyingly short as the Rowenta I had previously)

I have the Panasonic as well and am very happy with it! I love the way you fill it too no more overflow issues as your pouring.

I have the "other" cordless Panasonic, I think it's the LI-N70 or something like that. The greeny one. Mine is about....4 years old now? I LOVE it. If it dies, I'm buying another one just like it.

I don't think it gets quite as hot as a corded iron, but that's never really bothered me. I use it dry, so not sure how well it steams up.

I have gotten myself into the habit of removing the iron from the heating plate when I am done for the day, which means I also never ever have to wonder if I left the iron on or worry about it somehow shorting out and turning itself on. Without the iron in the base, there's no complete circuit for electricity to pass through. So I like that about it, too - I feel like it's just a little extra bit safer than a corded iron (that I would never unplug).
