She's beautiful! I grew up with Raggedy Ann Dolls that my grandma made. In turn, I made dolls for each of my girls. As they got older, they enjoyed helping select prints for the dresses.

She's wonderful. My daughter and her hubby both have theirs from their childhoods, and have shared them with their kids along with all the goofy stories that go with them. (This family is unabashedly old-fashioned!!)

My sister had a Raggedy Ann doll when we were growing up (not sure if she still has her) anyway, we had a puppy that used poor Ann's face for a chew toy. Our mom cut a new piece of fabric out and stitched it over the hole and painted her a new face. Sister was happy w/that.

Your doll is very cute and I'm sure you daughter will love her for years. Did you get a picture of her reaction when she saw the doll?
