Pattern minus directions
This has happened to me a couple of times and it just did again. I ordered fabric and a pattern to make a specific quilt (I won't mention the pattern or designer) and all I got was fabric, and a pamphlet showing the different blocks. No hint whatsoever on how to put the blocks together, no helpful instructions, no clue when to add sashing or its measurements , nothing.
i don't know about you, but I always understood that a pattern was supposed to have specific Instructions. I've even had one that completely skipped a crucial step! Nowhere did it say in the description that the maker should be a psychic or a mind reader.
IMO, patterns are expensive enough to start with; how about giving us our money's worth?

Did you order from an online site? Many times the pattern is a download that you have access to after you pay for your order. Go back to the site and see if you can still access the pattern. Or, at least, contact them about the pattern you ordeed.

normally, venting and consumer complaints are not permitted, but am leaving this as is as a cautionary tale to others.
