It looks like it to me..my pattern (QIAD)is twisted around ....but in the long run the result is the same.

It's a bit different the way you have your color placement but it's nice!

Thank you, this is how they do it on MSQ, I had purchased the batik jelly roll from them, no crazy about batiks but thought it would work. Have to be really careful cutting. don't allow for no mistakes.

It really does! I made a pair of sofa pillows for my dear MIL for Christmas using the card trick blocks. A couple of weeks ago, I saw this tutorial and thought, "Wow! That would have been much easier!"

i think it may be the 'see through' that is making it look a little different. when batting is behind it, i'm sure it will be better looking.

I was surprised they do look thin, I purchased them from MSQ? Also I really have to cut right on as there is not any extra to make a mistake with.

I think it does. I have been wanting to make a card trick quilt. I haven't yet.

Your block is very pretty.

Not immediately .I had to look at it a few ways. I think the light one in the first picture was throwing me off. I'm used to seeing it in dark solids or tone-on-tones as well, on point. But I can see the card trick now.
