Block Rockit and Qnique quilting machines
#1

I saw the block rockit 15 at the road to ca and I so want one. The frame that comes with it is the grace co. Continuum. The frame has an idler bar that can be purchased, the grace website says can be set on a long or mid arm machine. The purpose of this bar is so that you don’t have to adjust the take up bar. Does anyone know if this can be used on the BR 15 or Qnique 14? Any other comments on these machines would be greatly appreciated.

When I said that (Brother/Qnique are same machine) to the Grace representative on the phone, I was told that "They (Brother) like to say that."
Seems Grace company only supplies the cover for the Brother, not the actual innards of the machine.

I have a Block it Rock It which I purchased 2 years ago at the Madison WI Quilt Show. I LOVE it. I only do quilts for myself and since I work full time plus I do not have a lot of quilts to do. I have done 15 to 20 quilts so far and each one is better than the last. I only do free motion. I bought the accessories to do pantographs but have never done any. I love it because it was something I could afford. Sometimes I wish I had more than the 15 inches, but it works for me. I did have some minor set up problems just because I am mechanically challenged, I called and they called right back with the solution. This last fall I had a problem with the board going black and the Grace company replaced it no questions asked. They were extremely helpful and did not care that I had the Block It Rocket not the Qnique. I have not regretted by decision to buy one.
