I absolutely can see the card trick block and I think it looks great. When I saw Jenny doing this block I knew I would be making it, I have to agree that the darker richer colors really makes it easier to see.

Thank you, I love the block, next one will be scrappy, I used the jelly roll but some were shorter than others and you have to use the 2 1/2" squares for the ends of the blocks as well, so I won't get 6 blocks from each strip??

they look great!! I saved the directions but may never make any. Too many things to do. keep making them!

This block pattern seems to work best with high contrast fabric.

I've got to be honest here...it looks like the card trick block that Jenny did, but I think some of the colors are too pale to give it the contrast it needs. Just my humble opinion.

I got some of that white on white in a charm pack. It's a lovely fabric and shows well after batting and quilting. Good luck on the rest of the blocks.

I do agree, not sure why these colors were in this jelly roll, but I've started it, so need to finish it. I do like how it's coming along.
