My favorite authors are Louise Penny, Jacqueline Winspear, Elly Griffiths, Charles Todd, and a few other writers of mysteries. Most write series, so you may want to begin with their first in a series. I also enjoy Jennifer Chiaverini's historical novels (some quilting included), and she has a new one called "The Enchantress of Numbers." One of my favorite books of all time was "All the Light We Cannot See." Have you explored goodreads.com?

Any of the Mitford books by Jan Karon are GREAT!!! Redeeming Love by Francine Rives is a must read. My favorite authors are Lynn Austin, Francine Rivers, Jan Karon, Linn Stepp, and Mary Higgins Clark. Happy Reading.

What’s your interest ? I recommend:
A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Blackman
A Girl Named Zippy by Haven Kim
Author Jeanette Walls has 3 (Half Broke Horses, The Glass Castle (in that order) also The Silver Star
Author C.J. Box has a series to be read in order
French Creek by Peter Rennebohm is a real page turner
All of Bill O’Reilly books are good - at least ones I’ve read.
