Default Advice on fabric selection for Quilt of Valor

I'm going to piece a quilt of valor similar to the first picture. My question is whether I should use light grey, cream or white for the "white" color. I've attached a picture of the fabric selection with each of the "white" colors. My pictures probably do not do a good job differentiating between the colors so if you can't tell them apart just give me your off the cuff opinion.

    Here's the design picture:

    Light grey:

    Cream:

    White:

It would look nice with any of those lights. If it were mine, I'd probably use the cream. I wouldn't want it to be red, grey and blue.

I would prefer grey or creme but then I tend to think white is a bit stark for me.

I would use the cream since your other colors are more "muted", as in not primary colors of red and blue. The more muted colors are what I used in the QOV I made. I can't really see a cream color on my laptop, just going by your description. It will be beautiful!

Cream. As suern3 above mentioned, your colors are muted and the cream will not be as stark in contrast.

Cream gets my vote. I think it plays better with the red and blue tones you've chosen. Sharp looking quilt and I applaud you for making one for a veteran.
