Default Knitted Knockers

I knit these for local distribution for free. I haven't had any requests in months. Within 5 minutes, I'd received two calls for the same size. Since I only keep one pair of each size on hand, I had to hurry to knit another pair of that size. Two days later, I got a request for another pair! So my fingers were flying this month. Knitted Knockers is a national organization, but requests sometimes take weeks to fulfill. This way, mastectomees can get a pair almost immediately. They are so soft and light... so different from the medical ones.

The fine cotton yarn comes in hanks and I use a swift and ball winder to make them into barrels for easy knitting.

What a thoughtful project! I'm sure these are appreciated. How long does it take to knit one?
