I have a sewing room, and a sewing cabinet for my machine but would appreciate any suggestions for a small table I can use in the family room so I can spend more time with my husband. Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I went to Walmart and bought a Saunder wood sewing cabinet and have it in my family room. It looks like a piece of furniture.
Also in my sunporch I have a small table from Walmart.

Have fun looking for a table.

I use sewing to get AWAY from DH so I don't think I'll be of any help however, Menards has a 4ft folding table that I've heard is pretty good and fairly stable. It can be folded and stored behind the couch when you're not using it. Don't be surprized if he doesn't like the noise though.

Sams club has a really neat small fold up table for a reasonable price.

I bought a small computer desk from Family Dollar for $20.00 that would work if you don't need a big surface.

I saw this in Joann's the other day. They didn't have one set up, but it looked pretty good and folds up when not in use. http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/p...zprd_02256816a

I have used a tray table and a card table. Both worked, and I already had them around the house.

how big of a table do you have room for in your family room.

In my one sewing room I have a nice computer table hutch and works out great for sewing.
