Cute quilt, so sorry about the ink not coming out. Try DAWN dishwashing soap, it works on grease stains maybe it will work on ink, too.

Amen!! WD-40 to the rescue!! This is one of the worst nightmares for a quilt!! Bless your heart!! This little thing is now revived!!! I hope we all feel r-e-l-i-e-v-e-d!! Good going, gang! Thanks for all those great tips!! I still have alot to try on it yet. I think acetone might be the icing on the cake. We'll see. Thank you, dsj, for thinking/worrrying about my dilemma!

I tried Dawn before I soaked it for 2 days in ammonia and it didn't help.

 ;)

not sure what else to try because both of these take out pretty much every stain I have ever had
What great tips these are!! Purell I hadn't thought about but have some kind of off brand sanitizer I might try. Shaving cream is excellent for removing stains! Thank you so much, tmsrich, for these great tips!!

Well, it could be an improvement over my HQ!! I would rather paint more flowers in the fabric if all else fails. lol. We have all kinds of art supplies. This little pen by Pentech called "transformers" looks like it would be great for waxing out the coloring. It looks like a stippling pen. Maybe it would "transform" my mini!

Great idea, Ditter43. In the photo of the whole quilt, where three areas show the marking and the fourth doesn't, I thought it would be a good idea to carefully mark the lines solid on all of them. It would give the same effect as your suggestion. Make lemonade out of that lemon!
