Woody love those colors and since my second love after sewing is gardening I really like the size of the flowers. Very nice. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Love all your placemats.
I made this one from "Sitting Pretty" pattern by Black Cat Creations.

This is a nice thread. Great to see all the different variations and how all you have different ideas.

I made these in '08. The table runner came first, then decided to do each place-mat to coordinate with the runner, but different.

If I remember correctly (CRS) the tutorial was from the 'quilting board'. They are sewn and quilted at the same time, just have to add binding when finished.

I have pic's of a couple of runners -- don't have pic's of the similar placemats. I used some of my Christmas coins from the swaps and sort of made up my own pattern. Very easy.

I made reversable place mats for my sister. One side was a machine embroidered flower with patchwork blocks around it. One set was a pieced heart appliqued to a background and 2 1/2" squares surrounding to make it 12"x18".

just love your placemats, by the way I know you're in hiding but the picture looks like Positano on the Amalfi coast in Italy,
am I right?
