these are beautiful.. above my level....
i'm off to spend my day quilting with my buddies.. packed up a stash of fabric... thinking i'll make a mug mat and coffee comfy... probably the "4 square folded style"... only one i know and i'll just improve the comfy... hope i get this stuff done today... only have this week!!!

It looks to me like they are not bound... The strip that looks like a binding from the top looks like narrow strips pieced on, upon closer inspection. Then the entire top and batting is sewn to the backing, (which looks to be white or natural), leaving an opening for turning. This is what I'm reading from the photo. There are tiny bits of the backing peeking out at the seamed edge. That was my clue. Am I right?

Oooooooo clever detective work... that would be a great move...
got a ton of stips cut at quilt group today.. can press ad fold/stitch later...a made 2 zipper pouches,,, i'm a last min. "whipper upper" for DH/s office girls and my pool buddies from the summer that i like to remember... my SR looks like Santa's crafty workshop!!!!

Isn't that great?! Merry Christmas!

Just getting a load of Christmas pagent costumes out the door tonight. Whew... that's a big relief and now that it's out of the way, I can finish my own Christmas sewing and knitting!
