This is my 2nd quilt doing a Square in a Square, this time with Superman fabric! I saw the Superman and Batman fabric lines on fabric.com and absolutely had to have them. I like how the pattern showcases the fabric which are so adorable. A lot of them are comic strips and scenes, with writing. The red is a Moda Marbles which is perfect, and the blue is Fusions, which was in my stash. In the pictures, the colors show up very accurately which how they really look.

This is for my guy friend who loves Superman, even wearing Superman shoes. I'm doing one more of this pattern with the Batman fabrics! Piecing it now.

Block pattern (works out to 12.5" x 12.5" unfinished) : http://quilterscache.com/S/Squareswi...res2Block.html

Up close of some of the fabric. Love it!

Thank you so much for sharing your quilt!! My 25 yr old son is mentally handicapped and LOVES Spiderman. I bought some Spiderman material and have been scratching my head trying to come up with a way to make him a quilt that he will like. This is it!!

It's Super! The fabrics you put with it are perfect. The quilt would be great for little boy Supermen or big boy Supermen. The block you picked really showcases the fabric well.

I'm glad to give you an idea! It's so fast and easy (and square. I love squares). Blue and red might work for Spiderman too. Post pictures! :D

Lucy, Yes, I think the red and blue will work nicely with the fabric I have! I will post pictures when it is finished. (I love squares too).
