What did you use to hold the bolts together. I used pins but you mentioned bolt buddies what are they?

I use extra large paper clips - they work fine.

Hello
Love your organization. I found this on Pinterest. I see you posted this over 5 years ago. so I am wondering if you are still using this system.
Also do you measure each piece? and if so how do you mark it?

thanks
Barb

What kind of board do you use?? I don't use straight pins because I had some rust since I use the boards that fabric is sold from. I cut the clear tablecloth vinyl 28" length, 2" wide and wrap it around the fabric and secure with a piece of scotch tape.

My DH cut them up for me. If you are not able to do that they may cut them for a fee.The only thing to be careful of is making sure your lines are going the right way otherwise the bolt will fold up as you try to wrap it. I give that information on the first picture on this tutorial.
have lots of fun with this. Also if you have more questions feel free to ask away...

Hello,
I am wondering if you have ever tried to use he foam board for this? They say it is quit tough and easy for anyone to work it. Just wondered if it will collapse like cardboard does. There are no lines to collapse so it makes it stronger. And I think it is way cheaper. You can order it from Amazon. Thanks QM

I used bolt buddies. I purchased them at a local quilt shop. The boards are Coroplast it is like heavy cardboard only made from plastic! Very cheap and affordable!

I too thought I was at a quilt shop. Just love how organized you are and your stash is great.

I am now trying your method for organizing my fabric and boy I didn't realize how much fabric I have. I love the way it is turning out so far. I started doing this three days ago and hopefully it turns out as good as yours
