Love the idea of putting fabric pieces in the basket. What a cute gift for sewing friends. I used to make these baskets a lot but put a handle on them. I like the look of it without the handle better I think and it will be quicker to make. LOL. I'm making some small items for a friend's fundraiser and I think I'll make a few of these for her too.Thanks for the pictures and tute. You did an excellent job.

I have made a few of these for gifts with a coffee mug, flavored instant coffee and some cookies in them. Then you just untie the basket and you have a little placemat/coffee mat to use.
