Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville is a big time promoter of this idea. I have made them and I just use very tiny stitch so easy to rip off paper. Some of the copy stores will take your old phone books and cut off the bound edge and then cut page to your size and it doesn't cost much at all, a couple of dollars.

Are there directions for the quilts shown anywhere. I just started using adding machine tape today, it is awesome for using scrap pieces!

Hello Great Idea. Would you need to remove the paper before using it. Love you quilts and thanks for the demo.

I can't find the tutorial on string piecing. Can someone direct me on how to find it? Carol
OK, I finally went far enough and found it at the end! Love this idea.
