Featherweight stitch length way off.
I just recieved a beautiful new 222k in the mail this morning. The machine looks and sounds fabulous, but there is one problem with it I can't find any information on how to fix. The stitch length regulator, when set to 6 stitches per inch, is actually sewing out 12 stitches per inch (I measured). Anything higher up the scale is so small it practically stitches in place. How do I correct this?

Good luck. I can only suggest clean it thoroughly and see if that helps but I have not personally had that problem.
I would love to see pictures if you get the chance. A 222 is a beautiful machine.

I know and I am soooo bummed! And somewhere I did read that DeskDave is also closing up shop. I don't remember where though, sorry.
