Where do I find the serial number? There is a number on the plate in the front. I will post a photo, but not sure anyone can read it. It is 1222290 I am not sure if that is it or not. It is in the garage, so I can't get great photos. I am really excited to have it! Thanks for any help.
I'm working on mine in the garage, too! Right now I'm trying to clean the cast iron base (it's caked with rust and grime)!

ltamere, A year ago I was trying to help. Last night I picked up a cousin. Not nearly so nice as yours, No Shuttle and no bobbins, but I maybe have some kicking around. Also missing bits off of the bobbin winder Mine has the stitch length behind the pillar. The good news is that it is starting to clean up and it is moving fairly smoothly.

My ID plate is badly rusted, sigh.
Head only.
