Looking at the foot, it looks like a chain stitch machine. My sew handy (singer chain stitcher) uses a 24x1 needle that comes in various sizes. The organ needle co is the brand I own. Good luck, it's a cutie....Jane

What a cute find! I collect toy machines when they have the cases. Most use the 24 x 1 needle like Jane Quilter suggested.
