Why would you need to rip it apart? You might be able to find bobbins somewhere - they are an odd size.

If it takes the larger dia, but narrower bobbins than a class 15, in other words the Kenmore, White, National type, Sew-Classics has them.
If it takes the long bobbins most likely they are the same as the Singer 27/28 and those are available many places.

The machine has been sitting on a porch in a cabinet for years. It is full of dust and grime. I would need to clean and oil it. But if I can't get bobbins, how could I use it? There is one bobbin in the case. The machine is not gold, but looks the same as the one in the photo. I don't know where to look for bobbins. Thanks.
