It's more likely a G because most of those made in Scotland were Lotus decal, with the Red Eye used in Elizabethport. However there were some Lotus decals put on in the US also.

it's interesting that either number is for a 66

screwed up typing should read as didn't even bother looking as far as I know the red eye was after the turn of the century, but have never read anything on a year.

taking a 2nd look, it first looked like a F, then I zoomed as far as I could I'd have to go with a G

This add has been on and off starting mid summer, priced way to high. you'd think a hi priced seller would know a little more of what there selling..

Do you see anything wrong with this picture.

No picture, high price, the model number possibly. I'm not a W & W expert. It looks like a Singer model # though.

That would have had to be the opening bid set by the seller.

People go cuckoo for those painted machines, and are willing to pony up the bucks for them.

That one looks okay, but there is no way I would ever drop that kind of money on a machine that can be had for much less.

Wow. That wouldn't have been my first bid either. I love the color choice tho. If I even get one that the outside is seriously trashed I might try painting.
