I have found Graham Forsdyke's website (http://www.singer-featherweight.com/index.html) has some good tips, too. There is also a featherweight yahoo group.

I just sewing machine oil to wipe down my machine and my decals are holding up well. I have used my little girl alot since I bought her.

My sewing machine repair man says to use paste wax or machine oil....
