Didn't you say you had to pick them up? I couldn't help myself. I would have to get them. LOL

Two someone elses found the auction yesterday. I bought the 538 for about $26.00. I had already decided not to buy the Touch and Sews, but they went for 25.00 each or so. The Pfaff went for $45.00+ 15%+ tax. I quit on that one at about $35.00 as it was going to be a project and I already have two projects. I thought it would go cheap, so I didn't take the time to go to the preview. From the photos, you could tell it was going to take a major clean up at the least. The 66 went for $38.00+. There's another auction next week that has the goodhousekeeping and the really nice looking kenmore in it.

Cool, bkay. I"m glad you got some machines you wanted.

I know that since I have a couple vintage machines now, I have to remind myself to rotate which machine I use so they won't freeze up as someone else mentioned. I was amazed that my mom's 301 was still working after being in the carrying case in my spare bedroom for over 10 years. I'm so glad it did! I just finished a project that I did all the piecing on it. It was so fun!

Wow, how neat to have your mom's machine. I'd love to have my mom's 15-91. That's the machine I learned to sew on. Her husband still has it, but he's not too fond of me. It's unlikely he's let me buy, beg, borrow or steal it.

I was really disappointed in the 528. The removable part of the bed was missing. I was so disappointed, I left it in the van. I'll get it out tomorrow. I'm lucky, though, it's the first time I've been disappointed in a purchase.
